To celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee an event was held in Exning Recreation Ground on June 4, 2012

There were many events including fancy dress competitions, a dance presentation by Vroom, various running races and a tugs’o’war.

There were activities such as face painting, balloon sculptures, balloons and hats for all children, lots of food to eat and drinks.

Throughout the afternoon we were educated with facts about each year of the Queen’s reign and treated to the top selling single of each year (scrapbook)

People from all parts of the community came together (scrapbook)

There were all kinds of races for the children obstacle races, sack races balloon races and sprints (scrapbook)
