Defibrillators

The Chair of the Exning Community Church Hall Committee writes:

“Many of you will know that a second defibrillator for the village has been installed outside Exning Church and Community Hall (ECCH), which is in Church Lane, off Ducks Lane and next to St Martins Church. This has been funded jointly by ECCH, the Parish Council and with a generous donation from Exning United Charities.

It has now been activated and is ready for use. In case of emergency, you should call 999 and ask to speak to the ambulance service. You will then be given the code to access the defibrillator and talked through how to use it, as you use it. The ambulance service will stay with you on the phone until the paramedics arrive.

The defibrillator will be maintained by Exning Parish Council, along with the existing one in Swan Lane.”
