"Footsteps Toddler Group" in Exning

Who is "Footsteps" for?

It's a group for 0-4 year olds. A place to meet other families and for the children to enjoy the activities and play.

Who is running the group?

A team of volunteers from St Martin's Church, Exning

Who can come?  

Everyone is welcome.  You don't need to be attending any church. It's aimed at children and family members (or a childminder with parents' written consent) to come to a group with a Christian element.

What happens at Footsteps?

We will be using various creative ideas, to spark children's imaginations and open up opportunities for them to respond creatively in different ways to the songs and storytelling. There's a small part of the morning with a Bible story and songs. There'll be craft ideas connected with the story, and of course children to play with, and parents to meet other families.

What is the Cost?   

£2 per adult, children free.  This is to help cover the cost of the refreshments and paper, colouring pencils/felt tips, etc.

Will there be refreshments?

Yes. Refreshments will be available for children and adults. Refreshments will incude slices of fruit, probably apples and oranges, with water or squash for children.  We have small beakers but none with lids.  And the usual hot drinks for adults.

Can school aged children come?

It is not aimed at for school aged children.

Who's responsible for the children while at Footsteps?

Please ensure your child is supervised by you at all times.

Do I have to pre-book?

At this stage we are not requiring you to pre book a session, just turn up. If we get very busy we make ask people to prebook but, for now, just turn up ..... we are a friendly bunch.
